New Building Codes
Building Codes are based from the 2006 IBC & IRC(International Building Codes and International Residential Code). California Counties have until June 2008 to adopt and amend these codes to their County Building Codes. There are some changes that effect the building industry in our area, please see the links below to keep up-to-date on code changes. Placer County is keeping us informed on all changes, see links below. We recommend everyone reviews the Chapter 7A (Wildland Urban Interface Building Code).
